The field is fast-paced, analytical, and client-driven.

Who Should Be a Consultant?
Consulting is a great fit for students who enjoy problem-solving, working in a team, and tackling complex business challenges. Those with strong critical thinking skills, adaptability, and a willingness to learn across industries thrive in this field. If you’re curious, enjoy structured thinking, and want exposure to high-impact projects early in your career, consulting could be a strong career path for you.

Recruitment Timelines
For junior summer internships, most firms open applications in the spring or early summer before junior year, with interviews occurring in late summer or early fall. Full-time recruiting follows a similar timeline, with applications opening in the summer before senior year and interviews taking place in early fall. Some firms also offer early pipeline programs for sophomores looking to gain exposure before the formal recruiting cycle begins.
